1) 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby. Turbo II, 5-sp, some engine and interior mods. Sweet car, very reliable, easy to work on , and 30 mpg if you stayed out of the turbo. Sold it to buy my compact NH tractor.

2) 1977 Plymouth Volare "Roadrunner". Was 100% stock and original when I bought it in about 1987; I installed a reworked 340 with the 284/484 cam; Holley, headers, etc. and 727 transmission. Ugly (Spitfire Orange) and ill-handling, but that 340 was magic. Abused it for two years until it cracked a head, sold it to a friend and bought a beater to finish out my college years.

3) 1989 Dodge Daytona C/S These cars are rare, I didn't know it at the time. They were stripped down Turbo I Daytonas; no plastic on the outside, no A/C available (although it could be dealer installed), 5-speed only. Loud, rough and fast. Sold it to buy a truck.
